About The Position

A nursing home facility in Hackensack, New Jersey, is seeking an Internist or Nursing Home Physician to provide comprehensive medical care to residents. The role offers a competitive base salary of $190,000–$240,000 per year, additional bonus potential, and flexible scheduling. Residents and fellows are welcome to apply. The position is listed as full-time or part-time, with a minimum commitment of three days per week.

The physician will work in a specialized geriatric care setting and provide essential care to nursing home residents as part of a dedicated healthcare team. The role requires an active New Jersey medical license and a valid New York State license, with willingness to work in New York until the New Jersey location is established.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Active New Jersey State Medical License.
• Valid New York State medical license and willingness to work in New York until the New Jersey location is established.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Proficiency in geriatric medicine, chronic disease management, and electronic health records.
• Excellent bedside manner and strong communication skills.
• Empathy and ability to work effectively with elderly patients and their families.
• Minimum schedule commitment of three days a week.
