About The Position

Gold Coast Center for Veterinary Care is seeking a third Internal Medicine Specialist to join its collaborative specialty group. The specialty center is expanding into a larger, recently renovated space in 2025, adding 8,000 square feet of treatment space, an operating room, six exam rooms, a dedicated CT room, and upgrades to its in-house laboratory. The team includes specialists in surgery, cardiology, internal medicine, integrative medicine, oncology, rehabilitation, behavior, and theriogenology.

The position has no after-hours or on-call responsibilities. A satellite, on-campus location provides 24/7 inpatient and emergency care at West Hills Animal Hospital & Emergency Center. The role is based in Huntington, Long Island, an area with a walkable waterfront village, equestrian facilities, and access to coastal and outdoor activities.

Compensation is negotiable based on experience and relevant credentials, with an annual base salary range of $250,000–$300,000 plus a percentage of production. Other compensation components may include a sign-on bonus and additional pay incentives.

Requirements

• Active veterinarian licensure in New York, or eligibility to obtain a New York license.
• Board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Internist.
