About The Position
Greater Cincinnati Veterinary Specialists (GCVS) is seeking a residency-trained or board-certified veterinary internist to join and expand its Internal Medicine team. The role is based in a specialty and referral hospital that also provides emergency and urgent care. The team includes two board-certified veterinary internists and experienced technicians and support staff. GCVS provides a collaborative environment that values learning, mentoring, and medical autonomy, and offers specialty services and advanced diagnostic and treatment equipment. The successful candidate will contribute to patient care, client service, and clinical teaching in a team setting. GCVS is located in the Greater Cincinnati area, near the University of Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky Greater Cincinnati International Airport. The region offers professional sports, outdoor recreation, and highly rated public schools.
Requirements
- Board-certified or residency-trained internist.
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university.
- Current DEA license, or ability to obtain one upon hire.
- Active veterinary state license, or ability to obtain one upon hire.
- Highly motivated and able to participate in a team setting.
- Commitment to excellent patient management, client service, and clinical teaching.
