International Payroll Associate

About The Position

This role involves administering the full scope of payroll and benefits for all employees throughout their lifecycle, including managing tax rate changes, life events, leave administration, benefit enrollment, garnishments, and deductions. The associate will investigate and resolve pay issues, and perform end-user testing for payroll system changes to ensure a seamless process with minimal errors. The position supports payroll processing for Canada (60%), US (30%), and Brazil (10%), accurately entering data for new hires, transfers, pay changes, separations, garnishments, and deductions into payroll systems. A key responsibility is ensuring data integrity and integration between benefit vendor sites and the HRIS/payroll system. The associate will also work closely with managers of non-exempt employees to ensure time card accuracy and perform other payroll tasks and HR projects as needed.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in administering Canada and US payroll.
  • Prior experience setting up internal processes to ensure payroll and benefits are accurately delivered and compliant with state and federal regulations.
  • Experience in project management to improve operational efficiency for payroll and benefits.
  • Meticulous attention to details and a positive team player.
  • ADP and WorkDay experiences preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and resolve pay issues and end-user testing for payroll system changes to ensure a seamless payroll process with minimal gaps and data errors.
  • Support payroll processing for Canada (60%), US (30%), and Brazil (10%) including but not limited to, new hires, transfers, pay changes, separations, garnishments, deductions, accurately into payroll systems.
  • Ensure data integrity and integration between benefit vendor sites and HRIS + payroll system.
  • Work closely with managers of nonexempt employees to ensure time cards are accurate and free from error.
  • Perform other payroll tasks and HR projects as needed.
