About The Position

Parkview Health is hiring an Internal Travel RN for inpatient behavioral health at Parkview Behavioral Health. The Internal Travel program offers nurses the opportunity to develop their nursing skills while providing evidence-based patient care and supporting work-life flexibility. This role independently plans and provides professional nursing care in accordance with physician orders; hospital and departmental policies and procedures; American Nurses Association Standards of Clinical Practice; the Indiana Nurse Practice Act; and the ANA Code of Ethics. The position offers day and night shifts, with rotation, flexible staffing, and multiple shift opportunities. The schedule is three 12-hour shifts per week and includes four weekend shifts per four-week scheduling period. The initial contract is 16 weeks, with potential for renewal. The position is non-benefited.

Requirements

Diploma in Nursing or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN).
Valid Indiana Registered Nurse license.
Current CPR certification.
Two years of nursing experience; additional experience may be required depending on specialty area.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to lift 50 pounds and assist with 100 pounds; lifting requirements may be heavier in specified departments.
Additional certifications may be required for specified areas.
Addendums are required for 0153 Nurse Leader, 0249 Registry RN, 0252 Registered Nurse, 0235 Advanced Registered Nurse, and 0236 Expert Registered Nurse.
