About The Position

Georgia Hospice Care is seeking a Regional Travel Registered Nurse (RN) committed to creating meaningful patient experiences. The RN evaluates patients, develops care plans, communicates with patients, families, and the care team, and ensures patients receive quality care. The role involves traveling to patients throughout an assigned region as designated by a supervisor. Extensive travel and overnight stays are required; the nurse is home on weekends and more often when stationed locally. The position offers access to supportive leadership, professional development opportunities, and room for advancement. Pay is determined by years of experience and location.

Requirements

A heart to serve patients and families and a passion for providing the best possible care.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current state license as a registered nurse.
Two or more years of nursing experience in a clinical care setting.
At least one year of hospice experience.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to sit, stand, bend, and move intermittently.
Ability to lift at least 80–100 lbs and effectively bear the weight of an average adult.

Responsibilities

Evaluate patients and create care plans.
Communicate with patients, their families, and the care team.
Travel to patients throughout the assigned region as designated by the supervisor, including extended travel and overnight stays.
Ensure every patient receives quality care.
