About The Position

OSF HealthCare is seeking an Internal Medicine physician, BC/BE, to join an excellent work/life balance practice in Galesburg, Illinois. This is an outpatient-only practice supported by a hospitalist service, with outpatient call only. After hours, the OSF After-Hours Nurse Triage Center will handle first call. The practice currently consists of 4 physicians and 3 APP's. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. H1B and J1 visa applications are accepted, and the site is National Health Service Corp (NHSC) qualified.

Requirements

• Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state.
• Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
• Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies).
• Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
• Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
• Shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient internal medicine care.
