About The Position

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join a brand new clinic opening soon in Sterling, Illinois. This is an opportunity to join a team of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) as the Dixon market expands. The clinic will feature 3 exam rooms per provider, a procedure room, and on-site Point of Care Lab Testing. The position utilizes a team-based care model with comprehensive support, minimal call handled by the OSF After-Hours Call Center, and is located 13 miles from OSF Saint Katharine Medical Center in Dixon, IL. There is an opportunity to teach within the Family Medicine Residency Program and optional inpatient coverage is available.

Requirements

Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state.
Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies).
Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
Must meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care in a new family medicine clinic.
Collaborate with physicians and APPs in a team-based care model.
