About The Position
Saint Peter's University Hospital is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician to join one of its adult primary care practices. The hospital is a non-profit, 478-bed acute care teaching hospital sponsored by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Metuchen, known for combining exceptional care with individualized attention and cultivating a culture of warmth, inspiration, respect, and continual learning. Saint Peter's employs over 3,600 healthcare professionals and support personnel, with more than 1,000 doctors and dentists on staff, treating over 23,000 inpatients and 245,000 outpatients yearly. The role offers an opportunity to work in a thriving area with a robust downtown, access to fine cuisine, theatres, museums, and local markets, and is centrally located with access to New York City and Philadelphia.
Requirements
- A Medical degree and the successful completion of a residency in Internal Medicine
- MD licensed in the State of New Jersey
- Board-Certified or eligible in Internal Medicine
- CDS and DEA license required
- Must qualify for Saint Peter's University Hospital Liability insurance
Responsibilities
- Seeing 17 - 20 patients per day
- Participate in resident clinic precepting
