Requirements

• Must be a graduate of an accredited medical school with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree and have recently completed residency in Internal Medicine.
• Must be Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM).
• Must have actively practiced or trained in Internal Medicine for at least two of the past three years.
• Must have current certification in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.
• Must have an active DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances.
• Must have current license to practice medicine in any state, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States of Columbia.

Nice To Haves

• recent experience in procedures such as ECG interpretation and CPR (required), as well as basic synovial fluid analysis, cardiac stress testing, and flexible sigmoidoscopy (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provides outpatient care for acute and chronic conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging.
• Manage referrals to specialists when necessary.
• Develops and implements individualized treatment plans.
• Participate in Quality Assurance Programs and comply with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient-centered care.
• Supervise and mentor residents (if applicable).
• Stay up-to-date with medical advancements and best practices in Internal Medicine.
• Serves as a Primary Care Physician for a panel of patients.
