About The Position

Sugar Land Veterinary Specialty and Emergency (SLVS) is seeking a full-time Internal Medicine Specialist to join their multi-disciplinary hospital. SLVS has been a provider of high-level referral and emergency services in South Texas since 2007, operating from a 19,000-square-foot facility. The hospital emphasizes a culture of shared learning with daily rounds for peer-to-peer mentoring and support. They offer a forward-thinking environment for professional growth and knowledge sharing with specialists and ER colleagues, fostering a collaborative, friendly, and supportive atmosphere focused on maintaining a positive culture and striving for medical excellence. The hospital's specialties include Surgery, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Critical Care, Oncology, and Imaging, supported by a fully equipped ER and ICU to manage complex cases. The facility is designed for high-volume, high-complexity cases, with support from skilled anesthesia technicians and a dedicated central sterile supply team.

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Texas.
• Ability to manage high-volume, high-complexity cases.
• Proficiency in utilizing advanced imaging and minimally invasive tools.
