About The Position
Sugar Land Veterinary Specialty and Emergency (SLVS) is seeking a full-time Internal Medicine Specialist to join their multi-disciplinary hospital. SLVS has been providing high-level referral and emergency services since 2007 in a 19,000-square-foot facility. The hospital emphasizes a culture of shared learning with daily rounds for peer-to-peer mentoring and support. SLVS handles high-volume, high-complexity cases with support from specialized technicians and a central sterile supply team. The facility is equipped with advanced imaging (CT, MRI), interventional radiology capabilities, and minimally invasive tools for various procedures.
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine.
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Texas.

Responsibilities
- Provide high-level referral and emergency services in Internal Medicine.
- Manage cases to the highest standard with support from a fully equipped ER and ICU.
- Participate in daily rounds for shared learning and peer-to-peer mentoring.
- Advance personal skills and share expertise with a dedicated team of specialists and ER colleagues.
- Utilize advanced imaging and minimally invasive tools for diagnosis and treatment.
