About The Position

Skilled Wound Care is hiring Internal Medicine Physicians in Columbus, Ohio, to provide wound care and lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities and other post-acute settings. Physicians evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing, and complex wounds; manage conditions that affect healing; perform bedside procedures; and follow patients through their recovery. Training in wound care and procedures is provided, and prior wound care or procedural experience is not required. The position offers clinical autonomy, custom documentation software, and a weekday schedule without nights, weekends, call, or pagers. Physicians may work part-time or full-time. Compensation is based on patients and procedures, with quarterly bonus programs; the stated full-time annual earnings range is $250,000–$500,000, with top performers earning more through performance bonuses. Requirements

MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
Unrestricted or clear medical license in the state of practice, or eligibility to obtain one.
DEA license, or eligibility to obtain one.
Complete pre-employment confidential DiSC testing and relevant skills testing.

Responsibilities

Perform surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures.
Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing, and complex wounds.
