About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is hiring an Internal Medicine Physician to provide bedside wound care in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, visiting 2–3 facilities per day and treating approximately 20–30 patients per day. The mobile practice covers facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The role includes paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship. Physicians learn wound management from wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors and use current wound care technologies and modalities. The position offers full-time or part-time schedules, with no nights, call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Full-time physicians work 4–5 weekdays per week; part-time physicians work at least 3 weekdays per week. W2 physicians earn an average of $300,000 per year, with a stated salary range of $200,000–$350,000 per year for a 30-hour work week.

Requirements

Hold a full, active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where practicing.
Commit to at least 3 weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
