About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is hiring an Emergency Medicine Physician to provide bedside wound management in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility and visit 2–3 facilities per day within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location, treating approximately 20–30 patients per day. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The role offers full-time or part-time schedules. Full-time physicians work 4–5 weekdays per week, typically Monday through Friday, with a stated schedule of 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.; part-time physicians must commit to at least 3 weekdays per week. There are no night, call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. The posting states that W2 physicians earn an average of $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week, and lists a salary range of $200,000–$350,000 per year. Requirements

Hold a full, active, unrestricted medical license (MD or DO) in the state where the physician wishes to practice.
Commit to a minimum of 3 weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
