Internal Audit Intern
About The Position
Pan-American Life Insurance Group (PALIG) is seeking an intern to join the Internal Audit team this summer. PALIG’s Summer Internship Program offers students a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a global business environment while strengthening both technical and professional communication skills. The internship will focus on supporting Internal Audit initiatives related to process improvement, operational efficiency, and risk management across the organization. Throughout the internship, the student will help analyze organizational processes, controls, and workflows, contribute to recommendations that enhance efficiency and effectiveness, and support initiatives aimed at improving overall organizational structure and performance.
Requirements
- Current undergraduate or graduate student
Responsibilities
- Co-leading an Internal Audit advisory project to evaluate and strengthen business processes
- Assisting with audit-related reviews
- Supporting additional team-led audit and advisory engagements
- Analyzing organizational processes, controls, and workflows
- Contributing to recommendations that enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Supporting initiatives aimed at improving overall organizational structure and performance
- Participating in regularly scheduled Lunch & Learn sessions highlighting different business functions
- Engaging in other planned internship program activities and events
