About The Position

Pan-American Life Insurance Group (PALIG) is seeking an intern to join its Internal Audit team for the summer. The Summer Internship Program provides students with a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a global business environment, enhancing both technical and professional communication skills. The internship will primarily focus on supporting Internal Audit initiatives related to process improvement, operational efficiency, and risk management across the organization. Interns will analyze organizational processes, controls, and workflows, contribute to recommendations for efficiency and effectiveness, and support initiatives to improve overall organizational structure and performance. Requirements

• Candidates must be current undergraduate or graduate students

Responsibilities

• Co-leading an Internal Audit advisory project to evaluate and strengthen business processes
• Assisting with audit-related reviews
• Supporting additional team-led audit and advisory engagements
• Help analyze organizational processes, controls, and workflows
• Contribute to recommendations that enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Support initiatives aimed at improving overall organizational structure and performance
• Participating in regularly scheduled Lunch & Learn sessions highlighting different business functions
• Engaging in other planned internship program activities and events
