About The Position
The Internal Affairs Commissioner serves as the Secretary of Student Government and oversees official records, meeting documentation, and governing documents. This position helps maintain organizational transparency and compliance. This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
Requirements
- Strong writing skills
- Attention to detail
- Must be an enrolled UND Student
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
- In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
- This position does not support visa sponsorship for continued employment.
Responsibilities
- Record and publish meeting minutes
- Maintain official records and rosters
- Review governing documents and procedures
- Monitor compliance with the Constitution and Bylaws
- Recommend updates to governing documents
