About The Position
Santander is seeking a dynamic, energetic intern to learn about the company while assisting the commercial area. The intern will learn how the organization operates through on-the-job training across areas of the client life cycle, including internal events, onboarding, banking operations and documentation, updates, credit operations, and investment platforms. The position also supports current projects and regional initiatives, as well as bankers and the team with administrative functions. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship to commence employment. The role requires frequent minimal physical effort, such as sitting, standing, and walking. Depending on location, occasional moving and lifting of light equipment and/or furniture may be required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
- Ability to participate in a multidisciplinary team and work autonomously as appropriate.
- Willingness to learn and gain hands-on experience.
- Attention to detail and follow-through.
- Dedication to the team's success.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring employer sponsorship to commence employment.

Responsibilities
- Participate in on-the-job training in areas related to the client life cycle, including internal events, onboarding, banking operations and documentation, updates, credit operations, and investment platforms.
- Support projects involving Appian Credit, Appian Updates, W8s Appian, DocuSign and POs, and Cornercards.
- Complete assignments for specific initiatives in the region.
- Support bankers and the team with other administrative functions.
