About The Position

We are searching for a motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our dynamic team at HWC Engineering. As an intern, you will work closely with our experienced professionals on various multi-disciplinary projects including Road & Bridge Design, Water Resources, Construction Inspection, Land Survey, Land Development, Landscape Architecture, Urban and Regional Planning, and Economic Development. This opportunity offers hands-on experience and exposure to real-world challenges within the Civil Engineering industry, allowing you to apply your academic knowledge, enhance your skills, and contribute to the success of our projects.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in a related field.
• Strong academic record with coursework in structural analysis, geotechnical engineering, transportation engineering, and other relevant subjects.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and familiarity with engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically about engineering challenges.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in work output.
• Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute in a collaborative team environment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous internship experience or exposure to civil engineering projects is a plus.
