About The Position
The Intern, Ticket Sales & Service position is a season-long internship that gives you hands-on exposure to professional sports business through the Ticketing team. You'll work directly alongside our ticket sales and service departments throughout the season — learning the operational side of the business while getting real client-facing experience at games and events. It's a great fit for someone looking to build a career in sports sales, business operations, or client services.
Requirements
- A senior in college or recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Business, Sports Management, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency — specifically Microsoft Excel
- Laptop with NYI-issued email
- Available for the full length of the season (September-Post Season), including games and events outside standard business hours

Responsibilities
- Support the ticket sales team with day-to-day operational tasks — prospecting, assisting with maintaining workflows, and additional tasks as assigned
- Help prepare reports, track sales activity, and organize data reps use to prioritize their pipelines
- Assist with logistics around ticket plan fulfillment and sales events
- Help reps support their existing accounts — maintaining inventory of items, assist with the rewards platform, and additional tasks as assigned
- Work home games and events throughout the season as a visible, helpful presence for members
- Help with reports related to retention and renewing
