About The Position

Plexus is hiring a Software Engineer intern for Summer 2027. The role provides embedded software engineering design and related software development support throughout all stages of the product development life cycle. The intern will design embedded software and system concepts, manage controlled software releases, verify software against requirements, and use laboratory equipment and debugging techniques. Applicants must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Software Engineering throughout the internship.

Requirements

• Must be a student working toward a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Software Engineering for the entire duration of the internship.

Nice To Haves

• GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded software and system concepts that satisfy customer requirements.
• Maintain and deliver controlled software releases to customers using appropriate configuration management tools.
• Develop and execute software design verification test plans based on requirements specifications to ensure software meets requirements.
• Demonstrate proficiency using laboratory equipment and debugging techniques.
