Software Engineer Intern (Summer 2027)
About The Position
PTC is hiring software engineering interns for its 10-week US Summer Internship Program, working across multiple engineering teams within Onshape. Interns will contribute to hands-on, high-visibility projects that develop and improve Onshape, a cloud-native SaaS product development platform combining CAD, data management, collaboration, and business analytics. Specific projects and responsibilities vary by team and may focus on user-facing functionality, infrastructure, or performance improvements. Interns collaborate with developers and cross-functional partners, participate in code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and fix bugs.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or C++; specific language requirements may vary by team.
- Ability to learn new technologies and work within a large codebase.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future employment-based immigration sponsorship.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with geometric computation is a plus for certain teams.
Responsibilities
