About The Position

EquipmentShare is seeking a Summer Intern: People Analytics and Systems to support our Corporate HQ in Columbia, MO. This is a remote internship opportunity for a student to join the People Data, Compensation and HRIS team. The internship offers a flexible arrangement allowing the intern to learn the business from the ground up while working on team and independent projects. The intern will support analysts in planning timelines, managing workflows, and handling correspondence. They will also learn about data analytics tools and systems through hands-on project involvement and shadowing senior team members, and engage with team members at various levels to gain insights into the strategic role of data analytics and systems in business decisions.

Requirements

• Must be actively working toward a Bachelor’s or Master's degree.
• Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Enjoy organizing and planning.
• A solid understanding of Excel or Google Sheets.
• High attention to detail and problem solving.
• Project Management interest

Nice To Haves

• Prior exposure to R, Python, SQL or other programming language a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support analysts in planning timelines, managing workflows, and handling correspondence related to ongoing projects.
• Learn about various data analytics tools and systems through hands-on involvement in projects and shadowing senior team members.
• Engage with team members on multiple levels, from technical experts to senior leadership, gaining insights into the strategic role of data analytics and systems in business decisions.
