About The Position

An IT Support Intern provides foundational technical assistance within the IT department, helping to maintain and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network systems. This role offers hands-on experience and exposure to real-world IT operations, making it ideal for students pursuing degrees in computer science, information systems, or related fields.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficient Computer knowledge and skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Professional Communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Ability to review current IT audit controls and determine methods to automate data collection and processing.
  • Strong knowledge of AI models and the ability to create processes and automations to streamline IT workload.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and service-oriented with a strategic mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Basic understanding of A/V integration and installation is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Copilot agents.

  • Exposure to Active Directory, network infrastructure, and IT ticketing systems.
  • Experience with scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) and database management is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to and resolve user-submitted tickets for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Assist in configuring and deploying new employee workstations, including computers, monitors, and peripherals.
  • Install, update, and patch applications and operating systems to ensure security and functionality.
  • Involvement in IT Security audits including ITGC, IATC and Tisax.
  • Process automation through use of scripting or AI.
  • Use of Microsoft Copilot agents to automate daily IT tasks and reduce manual workload.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity problems and help users access network resources.
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets including hardware, software licenses, and mobile devices.
  • Create user-friendly guides and document technical processes for internal use.
  • Assist with user account management and implementation of basic security protocols.
  • Contribute to ongoing IT projects such as system upgrades, data migrations, and technology rollouts.
