About The Position

Datadog's Enterprise IT organization is seeking IT support interns to join the team responsible for managing internal tools, systems, and services that ensure Datadog runs smoothly. As an intern, you will work alongside IT professionals to troubleshoot issues, support employee onboarding and offboarding, manage SaaS applications, and help maintain the infrastructure internal teams rely on daily. This involves providing excellent customer service to employees and supporting thousands of endpoint devices such as macOS, iOS, Chrome OS, and Windows, as well as SaaS solutions like Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and Jamf. The Enterprise IT Support team manages the hardware and software used by Datadog employees globally. Over the course of the internship, you will combine theoretical learning with practical, hands-on experience, progressively taking on more responsibilities to support the ever-growing user base. Requirements

  • Targeting a 2027 full-time start date
  • In the process of receiving/have a degree in IT, Communications, or a related field; or have equivalent experience
  • Passionate about technology and eager to learn
  • Love working in a team and helping people
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware and software
  • Curious about how things work and enjoy problem-solving
  • Want to gain experience in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment
  • Positive attitude and ready to learn from experienced team members
  • Available to work full-time from the Datadog Boston office from June 1, 2026 - August 21, 2026

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with macOS, iOS, or other Apple devices
  • Basic knowledge of Google Workspace or other SaaS applications

Responsibilities

  • Learn and assist in providing customer service and technical support for our employees
  • Shadow and support laptop deployment as part of onboarding and refresh cycles
  • Participate in new hire orientations to understand policies, best practices and services used within Datadog
  • Assist with general ticketing, account management, and basic troubleshooting under supervision
  • Help maintain hardware and software inventory
  • Contribute to documentation creation and maintenance
  • Observe and support unified communications setups in conference rooms and common areas
  • Participate in team meetings and knowledge-sharing sessions
  • Gain exposure to deployment and security-related projects
  • Develop skills in various SaaS tools and IT workflows
