Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history. Northrop Grumman is seeking Electrical Engineers to join the Product Support Department of Aeronautics Systems Intern Program. This position will be located in Oklahoma City, OK. The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Aeronautics Systems sector in the Product Support group. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the conducting of analyses and/or product development in engineering disciplines such as electrical engineering, electronics design, modeling and simulation, and/or test and support equipment design and development. All these roles are focused on developing the optimum solution for operating and sustaining a warfighter. As an intern, you’ll participate in a summer internship program to develop competencies in a variety of engineering specializations that may include: Ownership of engineering design as well as 2D drawing formats and standards for a wide array of electrical products: Cable assemblies Wiring diagrams System interconnects Network interconnects Circuit Card Assemblies Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems. Work from engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. Operate related equipment; conduct tests and report data in prescribed format. Perform calibration and alignment checks; make adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.
Requirements
- Be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university AND graduating after August 2027
- Be majoring in Electrical Engineering, or related STEM field.
- Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
- Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).
