About The Position

Inter Miami CF is seeking an Intern, Community to work closely with the Director of Community Engagement on projects that support the club’s commitment to improving the South Florida community. The intern will help develop, support, and execute community initiatives as part of the Number 10 Internship program for the 2027 Sprint Season cohort. This is a paid, part-time internship scheduled for fewer than 20 hours per week, from January 11, 2027, through June 4, 2027. The role involves in-person events and work in Miami, with work in Fort Lauderdale when necessary. The intern must be able to work after hours and during holidays when necessary.

Requirements

Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Marketing, Brand Management, Public Affairs, or a related field, or recently graduated from a related program.
Exceptional reliability, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Understanding of social media and digital marketing.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented, hands-on work environment.
Ability to work non-traditional hours and in non-traditional settings within a team atmosphere.
Must pass a pre-employment background check.
Availability to work after hours and during holidays when necessary.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
Understanding of nonprofit organizations.
Passion for fútbol.

Responsibilities

Support community department activations through ideation, planning, and execution.
Assist with in-person event setup and breakdown.
Support department initiatives in the stadium and during game days.
Work in Miami and, when necessary, in Fort Lauderdale.
Support basic administrative tasks for the Inter Miami CF Community department.
