About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Commercial Sales Intern to join our Northeast Division Commercial Sales Team. This is a remote position, with preferred locations in Boston, Massachusetts; New York City, New York; or Hartford, Connecticut, and will include in-person sales visits with the sales team. The internship is an 11-week paid program from June 1, 2027, to August 13, 2027. The Northeast Division Commercial Sales Team is part of Labcorp’s broader Diagnostics organization and supports business performance, customer engagement, and operational excellence across the Northeast Division. As a member of the team, the intern will gain hands-on exposure to commercial sales operations, sales performance analytics, strategic initiatives, reporting, and customer engagement. The role provides opportunities to collaborate with Commercial Sales and cross-functional partners while gaining insight into sales strategy and operations within the healthcare diagnostics environment. As a Labcorp intern, you’ll be immersed in hands-on work that complements your academic background. Requirements

  • Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program.
  • Working towards a degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and clearly communicate findings.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to analyze information and support data-driven business decisions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment while participating in in-person sales activities as needed.
  • Preferred candidates are rising juniors and seniors (December 2027 through June 2029 graduation) who are currently enrolled in a relevant degree program; however, all current students pursuing related studies are encouraged to apply.
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in analyzing sales performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement across the Northeast Division.
  • Support the development and execution of strategic sales initiatives by collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Finance, and Analytics.
  • Contribute to divisional sales operations by helping streamline processes, improve reporting accuracy, and enhance Customer Relationship Management utilization.
  • Assist with the creation of dashboards and visualizations to support data-driven decision-making for Commercial leadership.
  • Support sales strategy planning and gain exposure to territory alignment and incentive modeling.
  • Participate in sales visits with members of the Commercial Sales team to gain hands-on exposure to customer engagement and sales activities.
