About The Position

KPMG in Canada is seeking talented and energetic candidates to join our Advisory, Management Consulting team as an Intern/Co-op Consultant in our Calgary practice, starting in January 2027. This is a 4-month internship position. The role offers the opportunity to build momentum, develop future skills, and take ownership of your career with support at every stage. Positions are available in the following service lines: People & Change, Supply Chain, Finance Transformation, Enterprise Performance Management, and Technology Strategy & Transformation.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a university degree program (Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Commerce, Arts, etc.)
  • Currently in your second, third or fourth year of study
  • Highly motivated individual, enthusiastic about taking on a variety of obstacles and opportunities
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong academic record
  • Ability to work independently without supervision, and to work well in a team
  • Strong problem solving and analytical abilities
  • Proven track record of successfully dealing with multiple priorities and deadlines under pressure
  • Strong sense of personal accountability
  • Entrepreneurial drive, and a creative problem solver
  • For Technology Strategy and Transformation, applicants should demonstrate a clear interest or have a background in technology.
  • Must have or will obtain legal authorization to work in Canada by the start date of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Advance clients’ business performance by helping to shape and navigate the important people dynamics related to the transformation of work, capabilities and behaviours (People & Change).
  • Provide strategic, operational, and technology advisory services to help organizations transform how they plan, procure, move, and manage goods and services (Supply Chain).
  • Partner with organizations to unlock efficiencies and deliver lasting business value by strengthening and modernizing finance and accounting operations (Finance Transformation).
  • Work with finance functions to empower them to become more insightful and true business partners, focusing on budgeting, planning and forecasting, close and consolidation, reporting and analytics (Enterprise Performance Management).
  • Advise clients on how new technology will impact their business and deliver innovative end-to-end digital transformation (Technology Strategy and Transformation).
