About The Position

Micron Technology is seeking an intern to join its Business Process Excellence Team and support the adoption of AI to improve sales operations business processes and productivity. The intern will examine the Business Process Management (BPM) Playbook and help transform time-intensive deliverables into an AI-powered resource library. The work includes developing AI models and resources that support process planning, analysis, prediction, modeling, and management.

The intern will work with Business Process Analysts and business and IT stakeholders to understand process improvement requirements, identify opportunities, and produce resources that support stakeholder alignment. Potential deliverables include baseline value stream process maps, current- and future-state process flow diagrams, systems context diagrams, use cases, user stories, micro-learning training materials, Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documentation, and communications. The internship offers practical experience in AI-driven resource development, Business Process Analysis, and Business Process Excellence.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business Process Management, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Must be graduating after September 2027.
• Knowledge of AI-driven analytics tools such as Copilot, Seismic, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Understanding of Business Process Management (BPM).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and proven organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze BPM methodology playbook work by phase.
• Participate in discussions on business process improvement requirements and problem-solving.
• Use AI and analytics to develop data-driven insights and key assets that help Business Process Analysts think, analyze, collaborate, and align stakeholders on process improvement objectives.
• Use and create AI-powered resources, including micro-learning training materials tailored to solution design and updated SOP documentation.
• Assist in drafting program and project communications.
• Support Business Process Analysts in various projects.
