About The Position

M9 Solutions is seeking a Business Process Analyst to support a government contract for a client located in Washington, DC. The role is hybrid remote/on-site and requires an active Public Trust clearance. The analyst will assess and improve operational processes, maintain procedural documentation, develop performance dashboards, engage stakeholders, and provide data-driven recommendations related to operational performance, risk, governance, and compliance.

Requirements

• Active Public Trust security clearance.
• At least 3 years of experience in business process mapping, workflow analysis, and operational improvement within a federal government or highly regulated environment.
• At least 3 years of experience developing, updating, and maintaining SOPs, policies, or procedural documentation.
• Experience with process improvement methodologies and tools such as BPMN, swim lanes, RACI matrices, or process flow diagrams.
• At least 2 years of experience developing dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Experience supporting risk assessment, compliance, research security, governance, or operational controls.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and map existing operational processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, governance, and compliance.
• Develop, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to promote consistency, accountability, and alignment with organizational requirements.
• Design and implement dashboards showing process performance, risk indicators, workflow status, and key operational metrics.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement, process validation sessions, user training, and adoption of new procedures and reporting tools.
• Monitor operational trends, develop actionable insights, and support risk assessment and mitigation with data-driven recommendations.
