About The Position

Micron Technology is seeking an intern to join its Business Process Excellence Team and support the adoption of AI in Sales Operations business process management. The intern will examine the Business Process Management (BPM) Playbook and help turn time-consuming process deliverables into an AI-powered resource library. The goal is to help teams plan, analyze, predict, model, and manage business processes more effectively and improve productivity. The role involves gathering and reviewing BPM resources, identifying opportunities for AI, and creating AI models and resources that support Business Process Analysts. Potential deliverables include baseline value stream maps, current- and future-state process flow diagrams, systems context diagrams, use cases, user stories, micro-learning training materials, Standard Operating Procedure documentation, and communications. The intern will work with business and IT stakeholders and support process improvement projects, while gaining practical experience in Business Process Analysis and AI.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Business Process Management, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Operations Management, or a related field.
Must be graduating after September 2027.
Knowledge of AI-driven analytics tools such as Copilot, Seismic, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Understanding of Business Process Management (BPM).
Strong written and verbal communication skills and proven organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Analyze BPM methodology playbook work by phase.
Participate in discussions about business process improvement requirements and problem-solving.
Use AI and analytics to develop data-driven insights and key assets that help Business Process Analysts think, analyze, collaborate, and align stakeholders on process improvement objectives.
Use and create AI-powered resources, including solution-tailored micro-learning training materials and Standard Operating Procedure documentation.
Assist in drafting program and project communications.
Support Business Process Analysts on various projects.
Gather and examine BPM Playbook resources to identify business opportunities and create AI models for process maps, diagrams, use cases, user stories, training materials, SOPs, and communications.
