About The Position
St. Joseph School in Cockeysville is seeking a dynamic Intermediate Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This role involves all aspects of classroom management, including collaborative planning with grade-level partners, grading, student engagement, and communication with families. The ideal candidate will possess a current Maryland State Teaching Certificate and have prior experience with elementary-aged students. Compensation will be based on experience and education.
Requirements
- Hold a current Maryland State Teaching Certificate
- Experience working with elementary-aged students
- Bachelor’s degree in Education
- MSDE certification
- Successful experience in student teaching or classroom teaching
- Knowledgeable in the use and integration of technology

Responsibilities
- Implement the curriculum using a variety of techniques to motivate, challenge, and engage students
- Assess and grade student work, including the use of PowerSchool
- Manage the classroom and fulfill all duties assigned to the position
- Participate as a member of the faculty in all meetings and activities
- Collaborate with school leadership and the broader faculty to foster a positive school culture
