About The Position

St. Mary’s High School in Annapolis, Maryland, is looking for a full-time Spanish teacher for the 2026-2027 academic year. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about current instructional strategies, skilled in creating engaging lessons, and able to provide an appropriate instructional program for students in grades 9-12. The teacher will integrate technology, maintain an organized learning environment, develop lesson plans aligned with the Archdiocesan Course of Study, use data for differentiated learning, and provide enrichment opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education and current MSDE certification with endorsements in Spanish.
• Practicing Catholic preferred.
• Positive references and recommendations.
• Basic understanding and acceptance of Catholic school philosophy, goals, and objectives.
• Strong technology skills and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a Catholic school setting is preferred.
