About The Position

St. Mary’s School in Annapolis is seeking a qualified full-time Director of Admissions, Upper School. This position reports to the Principal and is responsible for the overall planning, management, coordination, and evaluation of enrollment. The Director oversees the school’s marketing, development, communications, and constituent/public relations efforts, as well as activities that foster a supportive climate for enrollment and development. These efforts are essential to ensuring the school has the resources necessary to achieve its mission. This position is scheduled Monday through Friday, from 7:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.

Requirements

  • Experience in enrollment management, development, sale, marketing, and/or communications.
  • Ability to appreciate and communicate a passion for Catholic elementary education.
  • Demonstrated leadership and effectiveness in developing and accomplishing organizational goals.
  • Superior communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • experience in a parochial or not-for-profit environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Promote understanding, acceptance, and support of the vision and mission statements, and objectives of the school.
  • Work closely with the enrollment and development committees of the board to set and achieve goals and objectives.
  • Responsible for setting and maintaining professional writing and design standards for school communications; this includes electronic communications, including website and email.
  • Responsible for the planning, management and implementation of the marketing, recruitment, and retention of students. This includes but is not limited to open houses, campus visits and tours, re-registration, brochure creation.
  • Coordinate the external and internal marketing efforts and initiatives that attract and retain students in sufficient numbers to support the programs of the school.
  • Plan, collect data, make projections and report enrollment management data.
