About The Position
St. Joseph School, Cockeysville is seeking an experienced Primary Grade Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. This individual will serve as the faith-filled instructional leader for the classroom and will be responsible for all duties associated with the role of classroom teacher. Responsibilities include collaborative planning with the grade-level partner, grading, classroom management, and ongoing communication with families. Compensation will be determined based on experience and education.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or a related field
- MSDE certification
- Strong knowledge of technology use and integration
- Knowledge of curriculum, instructional methods and strategies, and curriculum differentiation
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms

Responsibilities
- Implement the curriculum, including religion
- Assess and grade student work, including the use of PowerSchool
- Manage the classroom and fulfill all duties assigned to the position
- Participate fully as a member of the faculty in all meetings and activities
- Collaborate with school leadership and the broader faculty to create a positive school culture
