About The Position
The Staff Nurse works in the Intermediate Float Pool at Brigham and Women's Hospital, providing care for patients within the float pool and collaborating with colleagues to deliver excellent care to patients and families in the safest environment. Nursing at the hospital emphasizes excellent clinical practice and keeping patients and families at the center of care, with a focus on understanding patients as individuals and helping them and their families feel known and cared for.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
- Current registration in Massachusetts.
- For newly licensed nurses, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is required.
- Able to work weekend rotation per the MNA contract.
Nice To Haves
- Med/Surg experience is preferred.
- Membership in professional organizations is recommended.
- Certification in a specialty area is encouraged.
