Interim Ramp Implementation & ERP Integration Consultant

ETONIEN•Charlotte, NC
•$60 - $100•Remote

About The Position

ETONIEN is supporting established businesses modernizing accounts payable and finance operations through Ramp implementation and ERP integration. This is a hands-on interim engagement focused on implementing Ramp Bill Pay, automating accounts payable, and integrating Ramp with an existing ERP or back-office system. Projects have an accelerated January 1 go-live target and require the consultant to drive implementation, integration, testing, and deployment. ERP environments vary by assignment and may include PDI or Epicor CMS; experience with both systems is not required. The engagement is remote in the US, expected to last approximately three or more months, with potential for extension. The start timing is immediate. The work is fast-paced and delivery-focused, with direct collaboration across Finance and IT. The consultant must be comfortable working independently, navigating technical dependencies, and delivering against a fixed go-live deadline. Additional project work may be available after the initial implementation. The estimated compensation range is $60–$100 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on skills, experience, certifications, licenses, and location.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience implementing Ramp Bill Pay and accounts payable automation.
  • Experience integrating ERP systems with finance, accounting, or spend-management platforms.
  • Practical knowledge of APIs, middleware, data mapping, and system integrations.
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable processes, vendor management, general ledger coding, and payment workflows.
  • Ability to own implementation and integration deliverables rather than provide project management alone.
  • Available to start immediately.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with PDI or Epicor CMS; experience with both is not required.
  • Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency, high-volume accounts payable, or international payments.

Responsibilities

  • Implement Ramp Bill Pay, including invoice intake, approval workflows, vendor management, and payment processes.
  • Design and deliver the integration between Ramp and the client’s ERP or back-office system.
  • Map and validate vendor, invoice, general ledger coding, entity, and payment data between systems.
  • Implement suitable integration methods, including APIs, middleware, or batch synchronization.
  • Lead integration testing, troubleshoot issues, and support go-live and stabilization.
  • Partner with Finance leadership and IT to resolve technical dependencies and establish sustainable processes.
