About The Position

Our HR Consulting Division is seeking an experienced Interim HR Consultant to support one of our clients in Buffalo, NY. This position is fully onsite and anticipated to require 3-5 days per week. As an HR Consultant with HR Works, you'll serve as a trusted HR resource, leveraging your expertise to support employees, managers, and key HR initiatives while making an immediate impact within the organization. Serve as the primary on-site HR contact, providing day-to-day HR support, employee relations guidance, and administrative assistance across a variety of human resources functions. This opportunity is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys being a hands-on resource, building employee relationships, and supporting a broad range of HR functions in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
3+ years HR Generalist experience
Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
Proficient in MS Office
Ability to maintain confidentiality

Nice To Haves

HRIS experience preferred

Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle recruiting activities, including candidate coordination, interviewing, and onboarding
Provide ongoing day-to-day HR support to employees and managers
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee questions and HR-related inquiries
Support employee onboarding and new hire orientation processes
Assist with benefits administration and annual open enrollment activities
Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and programs
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
Partner with leadership to ensure HR policies and procedures are consistently applied
