Intelligent Automation COE Lead

Caterpillar Inc.•Nashville, TN
•$128,470 - $208,770

About The Position

As an Intelligent Automation COE Lead within Caterpillar’s Intelligent Automation and Business Intelligence Center of Excellence, you will guide enterprise growth in Business Process Automation (BPA), process discovery, and process mining. The role focuses on enabling business units to identify and prioritize processes for automation, design durable end-to-end workflows in Bizagi or comparable BPA platforms, and quantify business value through data-driven process discovery and mining. You will determine where Generative AI agents complement traditional workflow and task automation, providing hands-on technical leadership, reusable patterns, and accelerators. You will partner with platform, architecture, security, infrastructure, and business teams to keep the automation ecosystem scalable and well-governed. The role combines process design, BPA platform stewardship, process mining analytics, GenAI-aware opportunity identification, and enterprise enablement. Its primary tools include Bizagi, Automation Anywhere Process Discovery, and Power Automate Process Mining, while coordinating with Automation Anywhere and Microsoft Power Platform capabilities for end-to-end automation solutions. The ideal location is East Peoria, Illinois; Irving, Texas; or Nashville, Tennessee. The summary pay range is $128,470 to $208,770. Employment offers are conditioned on successful completion of a drug screen.
