Integration Technician Intern

About The Position
CTI offers a paid internship of at least ten weeks, beginning May 25, 2027. Interns build fundamental skills and gain hands-on experience alongside system design and technical integration professionals. The program includes AV integration boot-camp training, introductory training, real-world experience, impactful projects, and preparation for the AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist exam. The position is on-site in Peoria–Morton, Illinois, for 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday during regular business hours. The pay rate is $17 per hour.
Requirements
- Anticipated associate's or bachelor's degree graduation between Spring 2027 and Spring 2028.
- Valid driver's license and a safe driving record in accordance with company policy.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools.
- Physical ability to walk distances; crouch, squat, reach, crawl, climb ladders, and work at high elevations and in tight spaces; and repetitively lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
Responsibilities
- Participate in AV integration boot-camp and introductory training.
- Work on impactful projects and apply hands-on problem-solving.
- Study for the AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist exam.
- Work alongside AV professionals on-site.
