About The Position

CTI’s paid, ten-week-minimum summer internship provides fundamental skills and hands-on experience working alongside system design and technical integration professionals. Interns receive AV integration boot-camp training, introductory training, and real-world experience; work on impactful projects and solve practical problems; and study for the AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist exam. The internship begins May 25, 2027. Interns work 40 hours per week on-site with AV professionals, Monday through Friday during regular business hours, at CTI’s Birmingham–Homewood, Alabama location. The pay rate is $17 per hour. CTI is an AV provider whose stated mission is to provide a fantastic customer experience. Requirements

Anticipated associate’s or bachelor’s degree graduation between Spring 2027 and Spring 2028.
Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record in accordance with company policy.
Ability to pass a background check.
Familiarity with hand and power tools.
Ability to walk distances; crouch, squat, reach, crawl, and climb ladders; work at high elevations and in tight spaces; and repetitively lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
Must verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete required employment eligibility verification documentation upon hire.
