About The Position
CTI is hiring an Integration Technician Intern for a paid, on-site summer internship in Tampa–Brandon, Florida. The internship lasts at least ten weeks and begins May 25, 2027. Interns work alongside system design and technical integration professionals, building fundamental skills through an AV integration boot camp, introductory training, and real-world project experience. The program also provides an opportunity to study for the AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist exam. The schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, during regular business hours.
Requirements
- Anticipated associate’s or bachelor’s degree graduation between Spring 2027 and Spring 2028.
- Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record in accordance with company policy.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools.
- Physical ability to walk distances; crouch, squat, reach, crawl, and climb ladders; work at high elevations and in tight spaces; and repetitively lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the AV integration boot camp, introductory training, and hands-on work.
- Work on projects and solve practical problems alongside AV professionals.
- Study for the AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist exam.
