Integration Technician Intern
About The Position
CTI’s paid internship is structured to build fundamental skills and provide hands-on experience alongside system design and technical integration professionals. Interns participate in an AV integration boot camp, introductory training, and real-world project work, including hands-on problem-solving. The program also includes studying for the AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist exam. The internship is at least ten weeks long, begins May 25, 2027, and requires 40 hours per week on-site in San Diego, Monday through Friday during regular business hours. The pay rate is $17 per hour.
Requirements
- Anticipated Associate's or Bachelor's degree graduation between Spring 2027 and Spring 2028.
- Valid driver's license and a safe driving record in accordance with Company Policy.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools.
- Physical ability to walk distances; crouch, squat, reach, crawl, climb ladders, work at high elevations and in tight spaces; and repetitively lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
Responsibilities
- Participate in AV integration boot-camp training and introductory training.
- Work on projects and solve problems through hands-on experience.
- Study for the AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist exam.
- Work alongside AV professionals on-site for 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
