About The Position

CTI offers a paid internship structured to build fundamental skills and provide hands-on experience working alongside system design and technical integration professionals. The ten-week minimum internship begins May 25, 2027, and is based onsite in Oakmont, Pennsylvania. Interns work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday during regular business hours, with AV professionals. The program includes an audiovisual integration boot camp, introductory training, real-world experience, impactful projects, hands-on problem-solving, and preparation for the AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist exam. Requirements

Anticipated associate's or bachelor's graduation between Spring 2027 and Spring 2028.
Valid driver's license and a safe driving record in accordance with company policy.
Ability to pass a background check.
Familiarity with hand and power tools.
Ability to walk distances; crouch, squat, reach, crawl, and climb ladders; work at high elevations and in tight spaces; and repetitively lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Participate in the audiovisual integration boot camp, introductory training, and on-the-job learning.
Work on projects and use hands-on problem-solving.
Study for the AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist exam.
Work onsite alongside audiovisual professionals for 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday during regular business hours.
