About The Position

KabaFusion is seeking an Intake Representative to process patient referrals and help patients begin service. The role handles referrals for patients receiving chronic therapies, primarily IVIg (Intravenous Immunoglobulin) or SCIg (Subcutaneous Immunoglobulin), and involves working with commercial, private, and government insurance. The representative collaborates with other departments to support a high level of patient care in every interaction.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of HCPC, ICD-10, and CPT codes.
• At least 2 years of previous intake experience, including eligibility and authorization.

Responsibilities

• Initiate the intake process, gather relevant data from referral sources, and complete intake paperwork.
• Verify insurance and eligibility, and obtain authorizations when necessary.
• Complete start-of-care paperwork.
• Contact patients to confirm information and notify them of their financial obligation.
