Intake Representative
About The Position
KabaFusion is seeking an Intake Representative to process referrals and help patients begin service for chronic therapies, primarily IVIg (Intravenous Immunoglobulin) or SCIg (Subcutaneous Immunoglobulin). The role handles referrals involving commercial, private, and government insurance and works collaboratively with other departments to provide a high level of patient care with each interaction. KabaFusion is a privately held home infusion company with a national network of pharmacies and nursing offices serving more than 40 states. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of HCPC, ICD-10, and CPT codes.
- At least two years of previous intake experience, including eligibility and authorization.
Responsibilities
- Initiate the intake process by gathering relevant data from referral sources and completing intake paperwork.
- Verify insurance and eligibility, and obtain authorizations when necessary.
- Complete start-of-care paperwork.
- Contact patients to confirm information and notify them of their financial obligation.
