About The Position

KabaFusion’s Intake Representative processes referrals and helps get patients started on service for chronic therapies, primarily IVIg (Intravenous Immunoglobulin) or SCIg (Subcutaneous Immunoglobulin). The role handles referrals involving commercial, private, and government insurance and collaborates with other departments to support exceptional patient care throughout each interaction.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of HCPC, ICD-10, and CPT codes.
• At least 2 years of previous intake experience, including eligibility and authorization.

Responsibilities

• Initiate the intake process by gathering relevant data from referral sources and completing intake paperwork.
• Verify insurance coverage and eligibility, and obtain authorizations when necessary.
• Complete start-of-care paperwork.
• Contact patients to confirm information and notify them of their financial obligation.
