About The Position

MedSpeed is a healthcare logistics company that partners with organizations nationwide to transport medical supplies and specimens. Intake Coordinators support on-demand operations by interacting with customers by telephone. They deliver a high-quality customer experience while assisting with order entry, issue resolution, and other customer requests. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Customer-care skills, including empathy, active listening, courtesy, politeness, and helpfulness.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A positive attitude aligned with a culture of teamwork, keeping promises, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to manage time effectively and multitask.
• Punctuality and consistent, reliable attendance.
• Process-oriented mindset focused on continuous improvement and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Collaborative work style and ability to work well within and across departments.
• Ability to enter data accurately at a given speed.
• Strong typing and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to customer inquiries by telephone while meeting corporate guidelines and performance standards.
• Manage a high volume of inbound calls while maintaining a positive, professional, and enthusiastic demeanor and answering inquiries promptly and efficiently.
• Address general questions about MedSpeed’s service process.
• Resolve customer issues over the phone using effective communication skills.
• Log, track, and document issues using online systems and procedures and in accordance with applicable guidelines and requirements.
• Provide a high-quality customer experience by following quality guidelines and responding to customer feedback.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
• Maintain current knowledge of MedSpeed service policies, procedures, and specific client requirements.
• Build and nurture a collaborative MedSpeed team culture.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
